Job Opportunity: Mechanical Fitter

We are seeking a skilled and experienced mechanical fitter to join our workforce. As part of a small team, you will be responsible for carrying out preventative maintenance on site and responding to equipment breakdowns in a timely manner.

This is a full-time permanent role from Monday to Friday on a dayshift basis. Our team is highly safety-focused and process-driven, with a strong emphasis on delivering high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out regular maintenance tasks as scheduled
  • Attend to breakdowns and troubleshoot issues promptly
  • Collaborate with other tradespeople in the workshop
  • Complete all tasks safely and to a high standard

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Hold a Certificate IV in Engineering (Mechanical Trade)
  • Possess exceptional fault-finding and troubleshooting skills
  • Be proactive, safety-focused and customer-oriented
  • Have excellent communication and problem-solving skills
