About the Project

The Midland Station Cale Street Project is a complex infrastructure development being delivered by a consortium of leading companies, including Public Transport Authority of Western Australia, Mc Connell Dowell, Georgiou Group, BG&E, and Arcadis.

The project involves the design and construction of a new rail line network, requiring the coordination of multiple stakeholders and the implementation of advanced signalling systems.

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Engineer - Signalling to join our team and play a key role in the successful delivery of this project.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate with project managers and superintendents to ensure the timely completion of engineering tasks and temporary works.
  • Provide regular progress reports and other reports related to schedule and cost to the project manager.
  • Conduct comprehensive reviews of signalling network designs and address any identified anomalies.
  • Provide technical and engineering expertise for investigating and analysing signalling system irregularities.
  • Develop and maintain signalling network standards, maintenance plans, and service schedules.
  • Ensure that standards are consistent with Department of Transport Network Technical standards.
Requirements
  • Tertiary degree or equivalent in an engineering-related discipline.
  • Signalling experience in project engineering and a working knowledge of project management.
  • Competent in planning and organising work schedules and a demonstrated ability to deliver to timelines.
  • Proven experience in project engineering with project management knowledge and understanding, with experience in the construction/heavy engineering sectors.
  • Self-confident and able to persuade, convince, or impress others to gain their commitment and cooperation to a course of action.
  • Sound working knowledge of health, safety, and environmental requirements.
