Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced professional to manage and maintain our digital infrastructure. As a Senior Infrastructure Engineer, you will be responsible for implementing, managing, and retiring the infrastructure that supports our digital services.

This is a critical role that requires in-depth knowledge of specific ICT platforms and the ability to provide expert advice on their management and maintenance.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Design and evaluate infrastructure requirements to meet future demands
  • Provide technical support for project build, test, and deployment activities
  • Prepare and maintain documentation, including design documents, implementation plans, and support procedures
  • Assist in developing strategies, operational policies, and procedures, as well as change initiatives
  • Participate in change management and communicate implications of configuration changes
  • Provide detailed technical advice, including strategic guidance to senior executives
  • Share knowledge and expertise as a subject matter expert and mentor less-experienced colleagues
  • Conduct research on emerging technologies and provide recommendations on product suitability
  • Engage with other agencies and service providers to build service delivery capability
  • Attend interagency meetings and forums to influence business outcomes and share information
  • Encourage innovation, continuous improvement, and manage change, influencing ICT strategy and resolving conflicts as needed
  • Manage backup, high availability, and disaster recovery solutions for IT systems
  • Regularly maintain patches and support packages for all technical layers
  • Administer and operate the Gateway network kit
