Postdoctoral Research Fellow in AI and Digital Health

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Postdoctoral Research Fellow to join our team at Charles Sturt University. The successful candidate will have a strong background in AI and digital health technologies and will be responsible for conducting research that is multi-disciplinary and collaborative.

Requirements

  • A doctoral qualification in a relevant field such as computer science, data science, Electrical and Electronic Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • A record of research publications in reputable journals.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to extract meaningful insights from complex data sets.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a broader research team.

What We Offer

  • Fixed Term (up to 5 years), Full time
  • Level A/B – AUD$90,822 pa to AUD$121,504 pa (plus 17% superannuation)
  • Bathurst (relocation assistance available)

About the Role

This position would be suited to someone with a computational background (e.g., artificial intelligence, data science, statistics, electrical and electronic engineering, computer science or a related field), but a track record in the following disciplines and/or applications will be an advantage:

  • Responsible AI and Digital Health Technologies
  • Wearable sensor development and Remote health monitoring
  • Deep Learning, NLP, Cyber Security and Block Chain for Digital Health
