Key Responsibilities- Deliver wellness and lifestyle services and activities that align with our Better for Life model, empowering residents to engage in meaningful activities.
- Empower and enable residents to maximise and improve their health, wellness, and quality of life.
- Develop strategies and processes to enable residents to take informed risks and live the life they choose.
- Contribute to early intervention programs to develop recovery programs addressing lifestyle and wellness decline.
- Listen to residents to ensure they are satisfied with the wellness services and support available to them.
We are looking for a candidate with a Certificate IV in Leisure and Lifestyle or equivalent, and demonstrated experience in delivering and supporting the implementation of wellness and lifestyle programs for older people. You will have previous experience working in an aged care environment or a passion for working with older people, good communication, organisation, and relationship building skills. You will also have sound problem-solving skills, particularly when assessing balancing supporting residents' desire for independence and self-determination against potential risks and duty of care.
