Support Worker Role in Mount Druitt

We are excited to recruit a dedicated Support Worker to join our team in Mount Druitt. This role offers an incredible opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of vulnerable individuals and people living with disability.

FlexiHome Care provides a wide range of in-home and community care support services to disabled people of all ages. Our flexible disability support services cater to the unique needs and aspirations of our clients.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Provide person-centred care to help customers achieve their goals and aspirations.
  • Contribute information for the development of customer support plans.
  • Offer support to customers with personal care, living skills, transport, social activities, medication and other required assistance.
  • Maintain accurate customer records on a daily basis.
  • Develop and maintain professional relationships and networks with customers, families, caregivers and key stakeholders.
  • Seek innovative ways to enhance the customer journey with guidance from our growing team.

Qualifications:

  • Cert 3 or 4 in disability, individual support, aged care, nursing.

Experience:

  • Experience in disability, aged care or nursing sector.

Personal Attributes:

  • Ability to be proactive, take initiative and eager to learn.
  • Capacity to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Multi-tasking and organisational abilities.
  • Ability to work under pressure and time constraints with flexibility.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
