Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team as a Behaviour Support Practitioner. In this role, you will work closely with our clients who have complex support needs and challenging behaviors.

Your key responsibilities will include providing direct specialist assessment and intervention services, delivering funded specialist services for capacity building under NDIS plans, and conducting functional behavioural assessments.

You will also be required to develop comprehensive behaviour support plans, engage with clients to develop effective clinical intervention and therapeutic treatments, and train and support staff to develop and implement positive behaviour support strategies.

  • Assess client needs and develop tailored behaviour support plans
  • Deliver specialist services for capacity building under NDIS plans
  • Conduct functional behavioural assessments and provide recommendations for support
  • Develop and implement training programs for staff on positive behaviour support strategies
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in the disability field with clients who have significant complex support needs
  • Experience with Allied Health professionals is encouraged to apply
  • Tertiary qualification in Psychology with current general registration with AHPRA
  • Current working with children checks, NDIS Screening Check, and driver's license
