Heavy Vehicle Technician

We are seeking a skilled Heavy Vehicle Mechanic to join our team at a successful family-owned business in Albury, VIC.
About the CompanyOur client has been in operation for many decades and is known for its long-term stability, growth, and training opportunities.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic workshop environment, where you will be responsible for carrying out major and minor repairs on a wide range of vehicles.
- Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure repairs are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Provide guidance and support to junior team members to help them develop their skills.
- Identify and advise on any additional repairs required to ensure vehicles are returned to their optimal condition.
- Practice and promote company WHS policies and processes at all times.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Experience in the Heavy Vehicle Industry (although Light Vehicles and Plant Mechanics are also welcome to apply).
- Must be Mechanical trade qualified.
- Ability to work well within a team and unsupervised.
- OEM and Dealership experience are highly desirable.
- Current HC/HR driver's license is advantageous.
This role offers a competitive hourly rate ranging from $40.00 to $48.00 p/h, as well as multiple company benefits and programs, including ongoing training and development opportunities.
Working hours are Monday to Friday, 7:30 am to 3:30 pm, with one rostered Saturday a month (8:00 am to 12:00 pm).
