Rust Software Engineer Lead Position

Key responsibilities include creating robust, well-documented web and API-based applications using Rust.
The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with engineers and the product team to build internal libraries and contribute to greenfield projects.
The role involves:
- Developing hardened, documented, and tested web and API-based applications
- Building our growing collection of libraries
- Defining and enforcing best practices for an expanding Rust team
Preference is given to event-based architectures, cloud (AWS), and serverless technologies.
Responsibilities and Qualifications
Core Responsibilities:
- Write and re-write applications adhering to best practices
- Contribute to building and maintaining libraries
Requirements:
- Experience in developing robust, scalable web and API-based applications
- Strong understanding of Rust programming language and its ecosystem
- Collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
Preferred Qualifications:
- Event-driven architecture experience
- Cloud and serverless computing knowledge
