Project Management Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Project Manager to join our team. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading projects from initiation to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

You will work closely with project teams to determine project specifications, assist in negotiations of contracts with external vendors, and obtain permits and licenses from appropriate authorities. Additionally, you will determine needed resources, plan all operations, and schedule intermediate phases to ensure deadlines are met.

A key aspect of this role is managing team members and allocating responsibilities, leading project teams and interactions with clients and contractors, evaluating progress, and preparing detailed reports. You will also ensure adherence to all health and safety standards and report any issues.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience as a construction project manager, with a focus on industrial projects. They will have at least 5 years of experience in this role, an in-depth understanding of construction procedures, materials, and project management principles. The candidate should also be familiar with quality and health and safety Australian standards, possess good knowledge of MS Office, and be proficient in construction/project management software.

In addition to technical skills, the successful candidate will have outstanding communication and negotiation skills, excellent organizational and time-management skills, and leadership abilities. A Bachelor's degree in engineering, building science, or a relevant field is preferred, and PMP or equivalent certification is an advantage.
