Load Operations Team Leader

Position Overview:
ConsMin is seeking a qualified Team Lead for our Load & Haul division, based at our mining site. This role involves overseeing the operations of the Load & Haul team in a FIFO capacity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure adherence to daily operational plans and activities for the Load & Haul team.
- Facilitate effective communication with personnel from other departments to achieve production targets.
- Assess staffing needs through the labor budgeting process and engage in the recruitment and selection of team members to enhance the Load & Haul workforce.
- Manage the performance of team members by establishing key performance indicators (KPIs), providing training and development opportunities, and implementing succession planning and performance management strategies.
- Oversee and/or operate the Load & Haul fleet, which primarily includes Cat machinery such as Cat 6020B Excavators, Cat 992K Loaders, Cat 16M Graders, Cat D10t & 854K Dozers, 777/G Dump Trucks, and 777F Water Carts.
Qualifications:
- Significant experience as an Operator in an open-pit mining setting, particularly with the specified equipment.
- Proven supervisory experience in a mining production context.
- Strong dedication to health, safety, and environmental regulations and practices.
- Competent in computer skills, especially with the MS Office suite.
- Possession of a valid C Drivers' license.
Applicants must successfully complete a comprehensive pre-employment medical examination, provide a clean National Police Check (dated within the last six months or able to obtain), and submit valid references.
