Job Description

Your primary focus will be to maintain the smooth operation of multi-user computer systems, including coordination with network administrators. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing overall management of large-scale operational systems
  • Undertaking systems administration tasks in support of major databases and applications
  • Providing level 2/3 support to users and customer management personnel on systems technical issues
  • Recommending, implementing, installing, and maintaining appropriate technology to meet client needs
  • Defining problems, collecting data, establishing facts, drawing valid conclusions, and preparing appropriate reports
  • Detecting, isolating, and resolving automated information system problems
Estimated Salary

The estimated annual salary for this position is $80,000 - $110,000, based on location and experience.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Excellent stakeholder engagement skills
  • A desire to support mission-critical classified programs
  • Systems Administration experience in UNIX (Solaris and/or Linux), Windows (Client and server), or Oracle
  • Virtual server administration experience
  • NetApp and SAN administration experience
  • Virtual applications experience (App-V, VSphere)
  • Ability to create advertisements, collections, and packages within an SCCM environment
  • Patch management experience (WSUS)
  • Scripting experience (Active Perl, PowerShell)
  • Containerization experience (Kubernetes/Dockers)
