Civil Engineering Design Position

This role focuses on providing design services for various projects, including civil and stormwater infrastructure. The successful candidate will play a crucial part in delivering professional drafting services.

The key responsibilities of this position include:

  • Maintaining project drawings and drafting logs
  • Reviewing drawings for completeness and accuracy
  • Ensuring compliance with specifications and standards

The Civil Designer will work closely with designers, engineers, and other staff to develop, draft, and quality control the Council's standard detail suite.

In order to succeed in this role, you will need to have:

  • A high proficiency in AutoCAD and producing accurate design drawings
  • Demonstrated knowledge of 12D or Civil 3D
  • Manual design and drafting skills
  • Knowledge of Australian drafting standards, building construction, practices, and techniques
  • Skill with Microsoft Office
