Veterinary Leadership Role

Greencross South Tamworth offers a challenging and rewarding opportunity for an experienced Veterinarian to lead our diverse team of professionals. As a key member of our leadership group, you will be responsible for driving the delivery of exceptional patient care, promoting a culture of excellence and collaboration, and supporting the growth and development of our team.

This is a full-time role that requires a high level of autonomy and accountability, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will work closely with our anaesthetic specialist and other senior veterinarians to develop and implement clinical policies and procedures, manage complex cases, and provide expert advice and guidance to junior staff members.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in veterinary medicine, excellent leadership and management skills, and a proven track record of delivering results in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the development and implementation of clinical policies and procedures
  • Manage complex cases and provide expert advice and guidance to junior staff members
  • Collaborate with senior veterinarians to develop and implement business strategies
  • Mentor and support the growth and development of junior staff members
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of quality improvement initiatives
Requirements:
  • Degree in Veterinary Science from a university accredited by the Australasian Veterinary Boards' Council (AVBC)
  • Completion of NAVLE, AVE, or equivalent examinations
  • Strong leadership and management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
