Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Operations Coordinator - Depot Support to join our team at our modern Laverton North Depot. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our depot, coordinating incoming and outgoing deliveries, and supporting our workshop and site operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate the receipt and dispatch of plant and equipment, ensuring timely and accurate processing of delivery dockets.
  • Identify and report any damaged or incorrectly supplied goods, maintaining high standards of quality control.
  • Assist with inventory management, stock-taking, and tracking of workshop consumables, ensuring accurate records and minimizing stock discrepancies.
  • Loading and unloading of goods from internal and external transport carriers, adhering to safe working practices and regulations.
  • Support various tradespersons, including carpenters, electricians, and mechanics, by providing technical assistance and guidance as needed.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to health and safety protocols and best practices for waste management.
About You

To succeed in this role, you will have a minimum of 5+ years' experience in a similar position within the logistics, plant hire, or construction industry. A proven track record of excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment is essential. You will also possess a valid Australian driver's licence (Manual C Class) and hold a current Forklift ticket.
