Automotive Service Technician Role Overview:
As an Automotive Service Technician, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional service to our customers by evaluating their needs and performing maintenance tasks to ensure their vehicles are serviced and safe on the road.
This position involves maintaining accountability for dealership-owned tools and manuals, operating all tools and equipment safely, and diagnosing vehicle issues using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
- Evaluate customer needs and perform maintenance tasks to meet their requirements.
- Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, inspect fluid levels, and check tire pressure.
- Detect and maintain vehicle systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, and air conditioning.
- Communicate directly with Service Advisors to inform customers of additional services needed.
- A strong eagerness to improve and learn new technology.
- Strong physical dexterity for working with tools.
- Excellent communication skills and customer service mentality.
- A high school diploma or equivalent and valid driver's license.
