We are seeking a highly skilled Merchandise Buyer to join our team at Baby Bunting. As a key member of our buying team, you will be responsible for managing a large portfolio of products, including Manchester & Bedding, Cots & Furniture, Maternity, Electronics & Sleep.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Develop and execute merchandise plans to maximize sales, profit, and supplier income
  • Select and develop innovative and relevant products aligned to our customer needs
  • Work closely with our buying assistants and planning team to ensure seamless product development and execution
  • Negotiate with suppliers to achieve purchase price ranges that meet our margin targets
  • Build strong relationships with suppliers to deliver financial budgets and drive business growth

**Requirements:**

  • Extensive experience in retail buying, gained in a multi-department retail environment
  • Solid commercial and analytical skills, with a strong understanding of financial planning and analysis
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Experience of working in a fast-paced retail environment with strong buying/category management experience
  • 7+ years' experience in a similar Buying role within Furniture and Electronics
