Key Responsibilities
  • Legislative Approvals Administration
    • Manage the Permits and Transport Commission mailboxes by monitoring the flow of correspondence and ensuring the efficient management of applications.
    • Provide a high level of customer service, including liaising with government and industry stakeholders.
    • Ensure responses comply with relevant legislative and departmental timeframes.
  • Transport Commissioner Support
    • Administer workflows for Transport Commission processes.
    • Undertake quality assurance of documentation submitted to the Transport Commissioner.
    • Undertake administrative activities regarding statutory delegations under relevant legislation.
  • Online Application Forms
    • Coordinate updates to, and testing of, online application forms relating to approval activities.
    • Work with relevant parties to resolve technical issues and communicate online form changes to the team.
  • Policy, Legislation and Approvals Support
    • Prepare correspondence and draft permits, developing options and recommendations for improvement in the delivery of legislative approvals administration.
    • Support staff and oversee tasks to ensure they are completed appropriately and on time.
    • Ensure Divisional/Departmental processes are followed.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in legislative approvals administration and customer service.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
