Compliance Specialist Role

We are seeking an experienced Compliance Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Risk and Compliance team, you will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Counter Terrorism Financing (CTF) compliance activities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • AML/CTF Compliance Program Management
  • Monitor and report on the effectiveness of the AML/CTF compliance program;
  • Client Relationship Management
  • Engage with key client relationships and external stakeholders;
  • Risk Assessment and Reporting
  • Report to senior management on AML/CTF risks and controls;
  • Training and Development
  • Manage and implement relevant training;
  • Process Improvement
  • Implement processes and protocols for risk assessment and suspicious matter reporting;
  • General Support
  • Assist the General Counsel and Senior Legal Counsel with other legal and governance-related activities and projects.
About You

We are looking for someone with strong communication skills and excellent organisational abilities. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years' experience in a similar risk and compliance role, with experience managing AML/CTF compliance activities. This role can be completed from any of our east-coast offices or New Zealand, and is a hybrid role offering the flexibility of both in-office and remote work.
