Business Development Manager for Accounting Channel

We are seeking a highly experienced Business Development Manager to lead our accounting channel growth strategy, focusing on Small to Medium Businesses (SMBs).
This role will be responsible for building and executing a comprehensive growth plan, leveraging industry expertise and networks to drive business development. The successful candidate will possess strong sales management skills, experience with sales systems and tools, and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
The Business Development Manager will oversee day-to-day management of the segment, managing multiple stakeholders to deliver effective business outcomes. This includes direct revenue responsibility, driving performance across qualitative and quantitative metrics such as profit, revenue, cost, new dealing clients, active clients, product penetration, and portfolio growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive growth strategy for the accounting channel, including a new GTM strategy.
- Provide management support and direct oversight to the local team of BDMs and relationship managers in the channel.
- Direct revenue responsibility and drive performance across multiple metrics.
- Leverage channel expertise and networks for business development, including experience selling SaaS based solutions into the accounting channel.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting, or related field.
- 5+ years relevant experience in Payments and experience selling SaaS solutions into the accounting professional services channel.
- Strong business development and relationship management skills.
- Highly networked in the industry, able to be a thought leader and represent OFX externally.
- Strong strategic ability, able to develop channel strategies for the target market.
We offer a competitive salary of $120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience, plus a range of fantastic benefits including primary and secondary carer parental leave, birthday leave, and a great work environment.
