Job Description:

The role involves leading a dynamic team and directly supporting the delivery of critical defence capability in support of Australia's national interests.

This opportunity works in a combination of traditional defence contracting and foreign military sales commercial environments, undertaking logistics and technical governance activities, and offering a diverse and rewarding career within the organisation.

As a key member of the team, you will be accountable for performing complex MH-60R sustainment product management activities within an integrated workforce, adhering to legislative frameworks, government decision-making, and Defence's mission and policy requirements.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan, lead, and manage human and physical resources, focusing on strategic objectives and continuous improvement.
  • Manage key stakeholder relationships, identifying expectations and concerns, and contribute to ongoing self-improvement and professional development.
  • Apply your highly developed integrated logistics, contract management, aviation fleet management, and business acumen skills to ensure MH-60R availability and readiness requirements are achieved;
  • Apply your highly developed communication and engagement skills to prepare briefings, submissions, reports, and communicate commercial and contracting risks, issues, and opportunities to stakeholders;
  • Be solutions-focused, with the ability to present ideas persuasively;
  • Be a critical thinker, skilled listener, and effective communicator;
  • Able to work within a collaborative team environment to maintain effective relationships in achieving shared objectives;
  • Attend customer and contractor weekly meetings in person ensuring the best outcomes for the MH-60R capability;
  • Ability to apply judgement to achieve critical outcomes;
  • Trustworthy, transparent, and possess the highest levels of integrity.
