Early Childhood Educator Opportunity

We are seeking an enthusiastic educator who is eager to further their career by studying a diploma traineeship and contributing to the growth of our educational standards.

As an early childhood educator, you will be part of a strong experienced team supported by our director with over 30 years of experience in childcare, as well as our experienced nominated supervisor and educational leader. You will have the opportunity for career progression and continuous learning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • SUPPORT THE TEAM AND FACILITATE THE GROWTH OF OUR EDUCATIONAL STANDARDS
  • CONTRIBUTE TO THE DEVELOPMENT OF A HIGH-QUALITY LEARNING ENVIRONMENT
  • WORK COLLABORATIVELY WITH OTHERS TO MEET THE NEEDS OF CHILDREN AND FAMILIES

Requirements:

  • Hold a Certificate III (recognised by ACECQA)
  • Be willing to undertake diploma study
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Understanding of National Quality Framework and Regulations
  • Ability to use the Early Years Learning Framework
  • Current Working with Children Check
  • Current First Aid certificate, Asthma and Anaphylaxis (or willing to obtain)
  • Genuine desire to work with young children
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Experience or willingness to document children's learning in an aesthetically pleasing and meaningful way
  • Awareness and ability to implement play-based learning approaches
