Job Description:
  • Lead the development of large-scale solar and battery energy storage projects across Australia, managing project life cycles from feasibility through to construction handover.

Collaborate with internal teams and external consultants to identify and assess new project opportunities. Conduct field-based feasibility assessments and provide clear advice on development risks and mitigation strategies.

About the Role:
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with landowners, community members, regulators, and councils.
  • Negotiate land access and tenure agreements with landowners, supported by legal counsel.
  • Support due diligence processes for project acquisitions and IC reviews, conducting commercial analysis and advising on project viability.
Requirements:
  • Hold 3+ years' experience in renewable energy development, with a focus on large-scale solar and/or BESS.
  • Possess a tertiary qualification in engineering, environmental science, urban planning, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with National Electricity Market, grid connection processes, and National Electricity Rules is essential.
  • Demonstrate proven experience managing development approvals and stakeholder engagement, with excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Showcase ability to work across cross-functional teams and lead project work streams, with a strong understanding of local community dynamics and cultural awareness.
