Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain a high level of customer service and ensure a positive experience for all patients
  • Prepare patients and facilities for dental treatment, ensuring a safe and clean environment
  • Deliver quality chairside assistance to our dentists, providing support and guidance as needed
  • Provide instrument sterilization and maintain infection control standards and procedures
  • Meet and greet patients, providing a warm and welcoming first impression
  • Book and amend appointments, answer phone calls, and update patient records
  • Support the Practice Manager and clinical team with the day-to-day running of the practice
  • Make patients aware of dental services and offers, promoting our practice and services
  • Handle payments and access sensitive information while maintaining patient confidentiality
Requirements
  • 1+ years of experience as a dental assistant in Australia
  • Receptionist experience is highly regarded, with on-the-job training provided
  • Certificate III or IV in Dental Assisting is highly regarded, with compensation to match experience level
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a passion for customer service and patient care
  • Organized with attention to detail, with the ability to build rapport with patients in a cheerful and light-hearted manner
