AFGRI Equipment stands as the largest John Deere dealer in Western Australia, and we are currently seeking a dedicated Heavy Diesel Mechanic (Service Technician) to enhance our Construction and Forestry Division.

Position Overview:

  • Conduct maintenance, repairs, and overhauls on heavy machinery and vehicles, including graders, dozers, loaders, and forestry equipment.
  • Deliver precise diagnostics and solutions through the DTAC system.
  • Identify and rectify issues in mechanical equipment and electrical systems.
  • Execute scheduled maintenance tasks such as oil changes and lubrication in accordance with Original Equipment Manufacturers' (OEM) specifications.
  • Compile inspection reports, diagnose issues, and communicate findings and solutions with clients.
  • Reassemble machinery and equipment, conduct operational tests, and make necessary adjustments.
  • Engage in new machine builds and fit-outs.
  • Respond to breakdown service requests, which may occur outside regular hours.
  • Participate in metro and regional field service work as needed.
