Power Generation Technician

We are seeking a skilled Power Generation Technician to maintain and operate diesel generators in accordance with industry regulations.

The Role:

- Participate in daily pre-start meetings with the commissioning team to ensure smooth operation of the plant.

- Maintain the plant's lubrication and cooling levels, adhering to standards for adding and changing lubricating oil and coolant.

- Troubleshoot and correct plant operation issues, ensuring optimal performance.

- Prepare daily run schedules and distribute them to relevant personnel.

Responsibilities:

- Ensure the plant is used strictly in accordance with client specifications and applicable laws or regulations.

- Prevent excessive wear and damage by operating the plant within its rated capacity.

- Inspect the plant regularly to identify any damage, malfunction, or hazardous conditions.

Requirements:

- Australian recognized HD mechanical trade certificate.

- Experience with Cummins KTA1250 engines (highly regarded).

- Current and valid driver's license.

- Experience in the resources industry.

- Excellent HSE compliance and ability to work unsupervised.
