We are seeking a skilled Technical Animation Artist to join our team. This role is responsible for setting up complex character simulations, including skin, muscle, cloth, hair, and fur, as well as giving life and dynamics to environment sets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and design tools and setups for complex creature deformations
  • Streamline shot-making processes by defining workflows and optimizing technical skills
  • Collaborate with the team to deliver high-quality results

This role requires a strong balance of technical and creative skills, with expertise in Houdini, Vex, and/or Python. Knowledge of Maya, nCloth, and nHair is a plus, as is experience with Linux, C++, Mel, and Marvelous Designer.

Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in a VFX environment
  • Strong understanding of character simulations and deformation techniques
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
