Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse Maintenance Associate to join our team at Costco Wholesale. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our warehouse, ensuring a safe and efficient work environment for our employees and members.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Clean and maintain warehouse floors, offices, break rooms, and restrooms, including operating self-propelled floor scrubbing machinery and sweeping, mopping, and wiping surfaces.
  • Empty garbage from designated areas throughout the warehouse and pull merchandise slip sheets and loose cardboard from the sales floor.
  • Check the daily schedule for assigned routine tasks and maintenance repair jobs.
  • Follow safety and security procedures, including tagging and locking off power access when working on electrical equipment and wearing safety goggles when using the compactor and baler.
  • Perform routine repairs and maintenance on equipment and assist in building displays and fixtures.
  • Maintain the grounds outside the warehouse, including blowing leaves, picking up litter, and performing roof checks and building maintenance.
  • Order supplies and parts needed for projects.
  • Provide prompt and courteous member service.

Non-Essential Functions and Tasks:

  • Assist with front-end duties as necessary.
  • Assist in other departments of the warehouse as necessary.
