Power System Specialist

At the forefront of power system studies and grid connection engineering, we are seeking a seasoned professional to play a pivotal role in managing activities, collaborating with stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations.
Key Responsibilities- Supporting the coordination of AEMO and NSP grid connection processes for large renewable energy projects.
- Assisting with Connection Applications, guaranteeing compliance with AEMO and NSP requirements.
- Collaborating with project teams to meet connection requirements and timelines.
- Providing technical input on grid connection design and project milestones.
- Maintaining communication with key stakeholders such as AEMO, network providers, and regulators.
- Resolving grid connection issues during project execution.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in power system studies or grid connection engineering, preferably within NEM, with solar farm and BESS expertise valued.
- Familiarity with AEMO processes, regulatory frameworks, and tools like PSSE, PSCAD, PowerFactory.
- Excellent stakeholder collaboration and communication skills.
This is a hybrid position based in VIC office with flexible working arrangements available.
