About the Role

As a Lead Piping Engineer, you will be responsible for driving the success of our projects by providing technical leadership and expertise in piping engineering. You will work closely with the project team to develop and implement piping solutions that meet the project's objectives and requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and expertise in piping engineering to the project team

• Develop and implement piping solutions that meet the project's objectives and requirements

• Collaborate with the project team to ensure that piping designs and layouts meet all relevant codes, standards, and regulations

• Ensure that piping systems are designed and constructed to meet the project's safety, quality, and environmental requirements

• Participate in project execution strategy and planning to ensure that piping engineering activities are aligned with the project's objectives and timelines

• Implement innovative solutions and technologies to improve piping engineering efficiency and effectiveness

• Support the project team in resolving technical issues and conflicts related to piping engineering

• Ensure that all piping engineering activities are conducted in accordance with company policies and procedures

• Collaborate with other disciplines to ensure that piping engineering activities are integrated with other project activities

• Participate in project meetings and reviews to ensure that piping engineering activities are aligned with the project's objectives and timelines

• Develop and maintain piping engineering documentation, including design specifications, technical reports, and other relevant documents

• Ensure that all piping engineering activities are conducted in accordance with relevant codes, standards, and regulations

• Collaborate with the project team to ensure that piping engineering activities are aligned with the project's safety, quality, and environmental requirements

• Participate in project close-out activities to ensure that piping engineering activities are completed and documented in accordance with company policies and procedures

Key Criteria

• Prior experience as a Lead Piping Engineer or in a similar technical leadership role

• Strong technical knowledge of piping engineering principles and practices

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with the project team and other stakeholders

• Ability to lead and manage a team of piping engineers and technicians

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to resolve technical issues and conflicts

• Ability to work in a fast-paced project environment with multiple priorities and deadlines

• Strong attention to detail and ability to ensure that all piping engineering activities are conducted in accordance with company policies and procedures

• Ability to collaborate with other disciplines to ensure that piping engineering activities are integrated with other project activities

• Strong technical writing and documentation skills to develop and maintain piping engineering documentation

• Ability to participate in project meetings and reviews to ensure that piping engineering activities are aligned with the project's objectives and timelines

• Strong commitment to safety, quality, and environmental excellence in all piping engineering activities

• Ability to work in a team environment and contribute to the success of the project

• Strong technical knowledge of relevant codes, standards, and regulations

• Ability to ensure that all piping engineering activities are conducted in accordance with relevant codes, standards, and regulations
