About this Role
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Food Service Associate to join our team at IKEA. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality meals while maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to food safety standards and regulations.
- Prepare and cook meals to high-quality standards, controlling waste and following production levels and cooking methods.
- Inspect food items for quality and freshness, taking corrective actions to ensure consistency in food preparation.
- Prioritize tasks under pressure during peak hours, ensuring timely delivery of meals.
Requirements
- Possess a strong passion for food quality and presentation.
- Have previous experience working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment, preferably in a hospitality or commercial cooking setting.
- Be enthusiastic about working as part of a team, promoting a positive work culture.
- Able to follow strict food safety and HACCP policies, adhering to daily operational routines.

Working Arrangements
This role is a permanent part-time position with 60 hours per fortnight. As our store operates 7 days a week, flexibility is required to work rotating shifts, including weekends and evenings.
