About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Virtualisation Engineer to join our team at Talent Focus. As a key member of our IT infrastructure team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our virtualisation environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement virtualisation solutions to meet business requirements
  • Monitor and optimise the performance of virtualised systems and applications
  • Determine systems specifications and working parameters for hardware/software compatibility
  • Diagnose system failures and take corrective action to ensure continuity of operations
  • Support complex systems that integrate across the organisation and infrastructure solutions

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualification in IT, Computer Science, or related field
  • VMware Certified Professional
  • Relevant experience in VMware ESXi, vSphere, Cisco UCS, Cisco Fabric Interconnects, EMC Storage systems
  • Experience working within an enterprise ticketing system – incidents, requests, change control – preferably Service-Now
  • Working knowledge of a broad range of hardware and software products
