Job Overview

We are seeking an exceptional individual to join our team as a Barista. This is a casual position with a flexible work schedule, ranging from 25 to 35 hours per week, including weekends and some evening shifts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide top-notch customer service, ensuring a positive experience for all guests.
  • Prepare and serve food and beverages according to café standards.
  • Operate espresso machines, grinders, and other café equipment.
  • Assist with food preparation (sandwiches, salads, cakes, etc.) as needed.
  • Take customer orders and process payments accurately.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café, including tables, kitchen, and front-of-house areas.
  • Stock and replenish items as needed.
  • Assist in opening and closing the café, including cleaning and setting up.
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth café operations.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a café or hospitality environment preferred.
  • Barista skills desirable but not essential.
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong customer service skills and a positive, friendly attitude.
  • A team player with a strong work ethic.
  • Flexible and adaptable to varying shifts and working hours.
