Job Summary

The CHPP Electrical Superintendent will be responsible for leading a team of electrical maintenance professionals to ensure the safe and effective operation of the CHPP. This role requires a strong leader who can mentor and develop a team to deliver outstanding results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a diversified Maintenance team responsible for the delivery of planned and unplanned electrical activities.
  • Assist the CHPP Manager to coordinate all CHPP electrical activities and ensure they comply to industry safety standards.
  • Lead the electrical planning and scheduling within the CHPP.
  • Monitor and provide feedback on electrical performance of the CHPP.
  • Provide strategic direction to optimize efficiency, availability and reliability of the CHPP.
  • Assist in the development of operating and capital budgets.
  • Monitor and control costs and ensure adherence to budget.
  • Identify, assess and reduce safety and environmental risks onsite.
  • Audit, analyse and report on performance to internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Experience leading a large team within a complex CHPP environment.
  • Electrical Engineering qualification.
  • Demonstrated experience managing multiple conflicting priorities and strong decision-making skills.
  • Experience and drive to mentor a team with diverse skills and experience to deliver outstanding results.
  • A genuine desire to lead a team which is responsive to change and consistently delivers great results.
  • Statutory ticket is desirable.
