Support Assistant Role

A Support Assistant is a dedicated and compassionate individual who provides daily living support to our residents.

About the Position

As a Support Assistant, your days will be spent delivering person-centred care to residents in line with their individual care plans. Your role will involve providing personal care assistance with daily living, assisting with medication delivery, mobility support, maintaining accurate health records, and encouraging social participation.

Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care assistance with daily living
  • Assist with medication delivery and administration
  • Mobility support in accordance with resident care plans
  • Maintain accurate health records as required
  • Encourage all residents to participate in scheduled social activities
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need to have a Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent, with relevant experience in aged care. You will also require effective communication skills, both verbally and in writing, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
