Job Title: Electrical HSE Specialist
About the RoleWe seek an experienced Electrical HSE Specialist to join our team on a Full-Time basis for the duration of our Collie Battery Energy Storage System Project. This role is available on a 10/4 DIDO roster from Perth. As an Electrical HSE Specialist, you will provide back-to-back coverage and advise project management on safe execution and implementation of work practices and procedures.
- You will liaise with client representatives and external bodies to identify safety requirements and standards specific to the project.
- Assist the Project Manager in reviewing, improving and implementing project safety management requirements.
- Identify hazards, establish suitable controls and implement procedures for HSE management.
- Review the WHSE management system and practices to take into account operational requirements and client WHSE management system requirements.
- Assist in identifying WHSE training needs (Gap Analysis) for the project or operation.
- Induct new employees on HSE responsibilities.
To be successful in this position, you must hold tertiary qualifications in workplace health and safety with at least 5 years' experience as a Senior HSE Advisor working on heavy industrial sites. Your skills and qualifications include:
- A strong commitment to health and safety in the workplace.
- Well-developed communication and influencing skills (both verbal and written).
- Excellent computer skills with sound knowledge of WHSE Management Systems and the MS Office Suite.
- The ability to coordinate work priorities, multitask, prioritize your workload and work unsupervised.
This position offers a competitive salary of $120,000 - $150,000 per annum, depending on experience.
