We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Senior Clinician to join our Alcohol and Drug Services team at the ACT Government. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality care and support to individuals struggling with substance use issues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical leadership and expertise in the assessment, treatment, and support of individuals with co-occurring mental health and substance use concerns.
  • Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans, working closely with consumers, families, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Contribute to the development and refinement of service provision, ensuring alignment with national guidelines and best practice.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care and support, including liaison with external stakeholders and community groups.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, professional development, and clinical supervision to ensure ongoing excellence in practice.
Requirements
  • Postgraduate qualifications in a relevant field, such as psychology, social work, or nursing.
  • Experience working with individuals with co-occurring mental health and substance use concerns.
  • Strong clinical skills, including assessment, treatment planning, and intervention.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
