About this role:

This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the telecommunications industry.

As a Telecommunications Trainee, you will be working alongside a small team of qualified industry experts to undertake a qualification in Certificate III in Telecommunications Technology.

Your day-to-day duties will include:

  • Structured cabling
  • Climbing ladders and running cables overhead and under floors
  • Chasing, grinding & tubing newly built homes
  • TV Antenna installation and/or replacing TV Antennas
  • Testing and commissioning of all relevant equipment
  • Reading and interpreting drawings, design documentation, product and client specifications

You will also be responsible for ensuring high-quality workmanship while maintaining company standards and relevant safety and compliance documentation.

We are looking for a mature-minded and responsible individual with a professional attitude towards team members, customers, and clients.

A successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, strong initiative, self-motivation, and a willingness to learn.

The ideal candidate will also have a strong attention to detail, be able to prioritize their workload effectively, and maintain a neat and tidy personal presentation.

Required qualifications and skills:

  • Australian driver's license (Manual preferred, but not essential)
  • Construction White Card
  • Hand & power tool experience
