Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Principal Building Surveyor to join our Building Assessment and Certification team. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in delivering quality development and building certification advice and customer service to the industry and general public.

">

You will be responsible for accurately and thoroughly assessing development applications, performing critical stage inspections of building works for all classes of buildings, and promoting Council's role as a Principal Certifier. Additionally, you will provide mentorship to Building Surveyors within the section, ensuring the delivery of exceptional customer service and value creation for the community.

Required Skills and Qualifications

">

To succeed in this role, you will require:

">

• A degree qualification in Building Surveying, Construction Management or a related field or demonstrated solid contemporary experience in a similar role combined with ongoing professional development

">

• Current registration as a Building Surveyor (unrestricted) under the Building & Development Certifiers Act or willingness to obtain

">

• Current NSW Class C Drivers Licence

">
