Mathematics Educator Position

This is a 12-month fixed term, full-time position commencing in Term 1 with possible extension (12 months) and/or permanency.

The successful applicant will use their interpersonal skills and ability to provide students with high-quality curriculum delivery within the Mathematics Area. They should be skilled in instructional and curriculum design, possess a strong knowledge of Western Australian curriculum, and be highly informed of the latest developments within this domain.

The ideal candidate will be reflective in assessing the effectiveness of their teaching practice and cultivate a safe and encouraging learning environment. They should set themselves and their students high expectations, have a commitment to excellence, and use a range of pedagogies to enhance outcomes for students.

Eligibility Criteria

To work with us, you must:

  • Hold an eligible teacher qualification and registration.
  • Be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, permanent resident, or have a valid visa with relevant work rights for the term of the appointment.
  • Apply for a WA Working with Children Check before you start.
  • Consent to a Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check and obtain a current Screening Clearance Number issued by the Department's Screening Unit before you start.
