Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled General Medicine Specialist to join our multidisciplinary team. As a Consultant Physician – General Medicine, you will provide high-quality clinical care, particularly in acute care and the High Dependency Unit. You will also contribute to supervising and training junior staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver exceptional patient care in acute medicine settings
  • Supervise and mentor junior medical staff
  • Contribute to the development of hospital policies and procedures

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A strong background in general medicine with experience in acute care
  • Registration with AHPRA or eligibility for registration
  • FRACP or equivalent qualification

Working Environment

This state-of-the-art hospital offers a supportive and collaborative work environment. Our hospital is RACP accredited and provides a range of services, including acute medical, surgical, paediatric, and maternity care. We have a 24-hour Emergency Department and new facilities include an inpatient rehabilitation unit and a day rehabilitation centre.
