About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Subsea Project Engineer to join our team at DOF. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for developing procedures and task plans for subsea engineering work scopes, coordinating subcontractors and materials, and implementing engineering procedures and task plans offshore.

Key Responsibilities
  • Developing procedures and task plans for subsea engineering work scopes, including lifting, installation, and testing;
  • Coordinating subcontractors and materials in preparation for mobilisation;
  • Implementing engineering procedures and task plans offshore, including providing engineering advice and guidance to the offshore team;
  • Experience with developing procedures in at least some of the following disciplines: Moorings Repair / Installation, Subsea Structure and Equipment Recovery / Installation, SURF, IMR and / or Decommissioning;
  • Experience in preparing Scopes of Work for Subcontractors and deck layouts for mobilisation plans;
  • Experience developing rigging design, lift planning and installation procedures associated with the deployment of subsea infrastructure;
Requirements
  • BSc, BEng or higher in Marine, Naval Architecture, Hydrodynamics or Offshore Engineering qualification that is recognised by Engineers Australia for Professional Membership;
  • Minimum 3 years relevant and recent work experience;
  • Proficient in Microsoft Packages - Word/Excel/Powerpoint/Project;
  • Highly confident, self-motivated, self-disciplined person with sound management and organisational skills;
  • Must be able to perform and achieve at a high level with minimal supervision;
  • Good technical skills;
  • A strong understanding and commitment to HSEQ;
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced dynamic project environment driven by deadlines;
