Occupational Therapist Role

The Occupational Therapist is a vital member of our team, responsible for assessing and evaluating patient care needs related to functional status, activities of daily living, fine motor coordination, home assessments, and adaptive equipment. The ideal candidate will have the skills and qualifications necessary to provide high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Assessment and Evaluation: Conduct thorough assessments of patients' functional status, occupational therapy needs, and develop personalized plans of care in collaboration with physicians.
  2. Treatment Planning and Implementation: Create and implement individualized treatment plans that address patients' goals and objectives, ensuring effective progress towards optimal outcomes.
  3. Communication and Collaboration: Maintain open communication with healthcare teams, patients, and caregivers to ensure seamless care delivery and facilitate successful patient outcomes.
  4. Patient Education and Support: Provide educational sessions and support to patients and their families on functional limitations, plan of care, and progress towards goals.
Requirements and Qualifications:
  • Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the state of MA
  • Active CPR certification
  • Valid driver's license, vehicle insurance, and access to dependable transportation or public transportation
Additional Information:

As an Occupational Therapist, you will be expected to adhere to our organization's Therapy Standards of Practice and maintain current licensure. Weekend rotations may be required to meet service demands.
