- Oversee Risk Management: Oversee the risk register and support risk management strategies to ensure the organization's risk profile is managed effectively.

- Extensive Experience in Governance: Extensive experience in governance, ideally in government, public sector, or education.
- Proven Ability to Support Boards: Proven ability to support boards, manage meetings, and offer strategic advice.
- Strong Background in Policy Development: Strong background in policy development, implementation, and compliance.
- Experience in Risk Management: Experience in risk management and aligning policies with strategic goals.
- Knowledge of Governance Principles: Knowledge of governance principles and the ability to manage related risks.
- Excellent Communication and Leadership Skills: Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders.
- Demonstrated Ability to Work Successfully: Demonstrated ability to work successfully in a high-performing vibrant team.
- Ability to Critically Analyze Policy Issues: Ability to critically analyze policy issues, assess impacts, and recommend improvements.
- Proven Leadership Skills: Proven leadership skills, with the ability to influence governance initiatives and foster a culture of good governance and ethical behavior.
