Job Title: Private Wealth Adviser

We are seeking an experienced and skilled professional to join our team as a Private Wealth Adviser. This role is designed for individuals who have a passion for delivering high-quality financial advice to high net worth clients with complex needs.

About the Role

The Private Wealth Adviser will support Senior Private Wealth Advisers in managing financial advice relationships with high net worth ANZ clients. The role involves delivering or supporting compliant financial advice based on a thorough understanding of clients' values and goals.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Supporting Senior Private Wealth Advisers in client relationship management.
  • Providing high-quality retail financial advice aligned with clients' values, goals, and financial position.
  • Ensuring adherence to Private Bank policy and process regarding advice delivery and investment execution.
  • Overseeing and approving client advice implementation, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with process and policy.
  • Collaborating effectively with an advice team, including senior private wealth advisers, advice assistants, and paraplanners.

In addition to these responsibilities, the Private Wealth Adviser will also engage regularly with referral partners, maintain adherence to Corporations Act, ASIC regulatory requirements, Adviser Code of Ethics, and other legal and regulatory requirements.

Key Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Completion of the financial adviser professional exam.
  • Previous experience in providing retail financial advice to high net worth clients with complex needs.
  • Excellent understanding of financial services products, including investments, superannuation, SMSF, and insurance.
  • Strong knowledge of advice processes, legal, and regulatory requirements.

You will also need to be able to work effectively in a team environment and communicate complex information clearly to clients.
