Job Title

The Performance Director plays a pivotal role in enhancing performance across capital projects and programs. This involves ensuring the efficient delivery of infrastructure program and project assurance functions, management of project advice, lessons learnt and knowledge sharing platforms and processes, and supporting reporting and analytics that drive program improvements.

About the Role

  • Lead the team responsible for managing review processes and associated reporting, requiring highly developed stakeholder engagement and management skills.
  • Engage with, and respond to, cross-government strategic policies and issues impacting infrastructure delivery agencies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver or assure large-scale capital infrastructure projects, including a detailed understanding of the various phases of social infrastructure project planning and delivery.
  • Proven expertise in capital projects assurance, governance, and risk management frameworks, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights and clear messaging and reporting.
  • Strong leadership skills to inspire, develop, and guide multidisciplinary teams toward achieving high-quality outcomes.
  • Exceptional stakeholder engagement capabilities, influencing and negotiating at senior levels to achieve mutually beneficial solutions.
  • Commitment to continuous improvement, ensuring alignment with organisational goals and best practices.
