  • Deliver practical solutions that meet mechanical and integrity requirements across upstream surface facilities
  • Conduct inspections, fitness-for-service assessments and root cause analyses
  • Resolve operational issues and implement strategies to improve performance and reduce downtime
  • Provide coaching and technical guidance to junior engineers
  • Support reviews of health, safety and environment practices, asset risk assessments and incident investigations
  • Represent Operations Engineering in design and project reviews
  • Collaborate with operations, maintenance, engineering and integrity teams

You are a confident and collaborative professional who thrives in dynamic environments. You combine strong technical knowledge with an inclusive leadership style, clear communication and a practical mindset.

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Materials or related field
  • Considerable experience in mechanical or integrity engineering, ideally in energy or infrastructure
  • Proficiency in pressure systems, piping, welding and non-destructive testing techniques
  • Experience in equipment failure investigation, inspection management and plant reliability
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Prior experience in upstream gas or coal seam gas
  • Familiarity with SCADA, CMMS and condition monitoring tools
  • Experience mentoring or supervising junior engineers
