Job Title:
Retail Store Operations Supervisor

The Salvation Army is a Christian movement and one of Australia's largest charities. We believe in doing good that transforms lives and futures for the better.

This role involves supporting the Store Manager in overseeing daily store operations, including recycling, retail, and administrative tasks aligned with our mission and values. The successful candidate will contribute to generating ongoing income to support the Corps and its community-based initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver exceptional customer service across all areas of the store, including shop floor, fitting rooms, registers, and beyond.
- Assist in processing donations and ensuring stock is well-presented and priced correctly.
- Open and close the store, following established procedures.
- Handle cash securely and complete banking tasks as needed.
- Provide guidance and direction to team members and support the supervision of staff.

Requirements:
- Solid customer service experience in a retail environment.
- Collaborative team approach with a can-do attitude.
- Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role is highly regarded.
- Reasonable level of physical fitness to carry out daily tasks.
