About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Estimator to join our team at ACRWORLD as a key member of our electrical engineering department. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and supporting bids from concept to completion, ensuring timely tender management for senior management review.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and coordinate tender submissions, ensuring they meet all necessary deadlines and requirements.
  • Develop and implement tender strategies, working closely with senior management to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with sub-contractors, suppliers, and consultants, fostering a collaborative environment.
  • Mentor and share expertise with team members, promoting knowledge sharing and skill development.
  • Identify and mitigate risks, ensuring all tender-related risks are recorded and addressed.
  • Ensure tender submissions meet all necessary formatting and content requirements.
  • Manage post-tender correspondence, responding to queries and resolving issues under senior management's approval.
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualifications in Electrical Engineering.
  • Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience estimating within an electrical engineering environment.
  • Demonstrated ability in comprehension and interpretation of contractual documents, specifications, and drawings.
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality estimates and tender submissions.
  • Extensive knowledge and experience in contract tendering procedures.
  • Demonstrated experience in pricing a wide range of electrical engineering projects.
