Job Description

You will lead a team of Production Schedulers to prioritize Work Orders and ensure that our Work Centers have a smooth workflow. This involves developing business processes, tools, and knowledge to support Production Scheduling. You will also partner with the Production and Supply Chain management teams to achieve schedule targets.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of Production Schedulers to successfully manage Work Orders and prioritize tasks.
  • Develop and implement business processes, tools, and knowledge to support Production Scheduling.
  • Partner with the Production and Supply Chain management teams to achieve schedule targets.
  • Evaluate and improve existing processes to increase efficiency and productivity.
  • Communicate effectively with team members, stakeholders, and other departments.
Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Aerospace, Business, Manufacturing, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering, Logistics, or Scheduling.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment with a strong record of achievement.
  • Leadership experience, including leading a medium to large team in a demanding organization.
Skills and Requirements

Preferred skills include:

  • Purchasing/APICS certification.
  • 5+ years of experience in ERP/MRP Planning/Purchasing/Production Scheduling.
  • Analytical and written skills.
  • Ability to influence others and design processes for improvement.
Additional Requirements

This role requires:

  • Flexibility to adapt to changing work demands.
  • Ability to travel as needed.
